Neonazi demonstration in Plauen errupts in heavy clashes on Mayday

On Mayday approximately 700 neo-nazis rallied through Plauen for a ‘national-revolutionary working class’. At least 800 participated in a counter-demonstration. Counter-protesters were captured by police stopping the demonstration and leading to smaller clashes. Neonazis started simultaneously sending pyrotechnics into citizens protesting next to the route and police forced them to turn around. Water-cannons and teargas were used to stop the riot. The facist mob then rallied back to Upper-Plauen railroad station.

Neonazis hold Reinhold Elstner memorial rally

As every year neonazis in Munich today held their memorial for holocaust-denier Reinhold Elstner, that set himself on fire more then twenty years ago. Convicted neonazi terrorists led the rally. No speeches were held.

PEGIDA marched from Odeonsplatz down Ludwigsstraße and returned to it’s starting point. Amongst the mass as usual confessing neo-nazis and antisemits. Approximately 350 people blocked Ludwigsstrasse as PEGIDA started marching back. The demonstration was guided around the road-block.
As the rally returned to its starting point one participant tried to attack colleague Robert Andreasch over a fence and hardly missed him:
